Fares for riding PATH are $2.75.

Fares can be paid in one of four ways:

• PATH SmartLink Card
  This is a refillable smart card that can be purchased for online or from blue SmartLink vending machines (cash only) located throughout the system. You can either purchase a set number of trips or a set number of days of use. The more you buy, the cheaper the fare.
• NYC Transit MetroCard
  Metrocards are accepted on the NYC subway system and NYC buses. They are refillable magnetic cards. You can obtain a card at any PATH or NYC Subway vending machine with cash, credit card, or debit card. There is no fee to obtain an empty card. The fare when paying with these cards is always $2.75. Unlimited Metrocards are not accepted on PATH.
• PATH Single Ride or Two Trip Card
  This is a non-refillable paper card good for one or two trips. The single trip card ($2.75) can be purchased with cash, credit card, or debit card at any vending machine and is good for 2 hours from the time of purchase. The two-trip card ($5.50) can be purchased only with cash at blue SmartLink vending machines.

Please note that cash is not accepted on PATH. You can purchase or refill your MetroCards and SmartLink card at automated vending machines located at each station.

Fare Options:

If you're using a PATH SmartLink card, you can add any of the following onto your card:

• 10 trips for $21.00
• 20 trips for $42.00
• 40 trips for $84.00

PATH SmartLink card users have the following additional options available to them:

• 1 day unlimited pass for $8.25
• 7 day unlimited pass for $29.00
• 30 day unlimited pass for $89.00

Senior citizens age 65 and older can purchase a Senior SmartLink card. Individual trips can be added to this card at a cost of $1.00 each.
